If you are searching for a ReadyRefresh phone number, a Primo exchange location, or simply a water delivery company that answers, this is the short version of what Alkaid does differently. We are the bottled water line of Blue Star Pure Water, a family company that has run routes across northern New Jersey and New York since 2010.
What you get with Alkaid
- A phone a person answers. (888) 599-5420, and we usually reply to messages within one business day.
- No contract on the water. Subscriptions can be paused, skipped or cancelled from your account at any time.
- A cooler we maintain. The Avalon A4 Bottom-Loading Water Cooler Dispenser (Black) for $7.99 a month with a 3-jug subscription, billed with each delivery as its own line. First and last month's rent paid with your first delivery · 12-month minimum · free repair or swap · picked up when the subscription ends.
- Jugs swapped, not exchanged at a store. We deliver full 5-gallon jugs and take your empties, 3 at a time. $8.99 alkaline or spring, $7.99 purified.
- A text when the driver is on the way if you opt in to texts, and a photograph of every drop.
- The Doorstep Promise. Damaged on arrival: keep it, we replace it. Taken after drop-off: refunded.
- Flat delivery. $5.99 in New Jersey and $7.99 in New York City, one-time or subscribed, and free in Paterson, Haledon, Fair Lawn, Elmwood Park, Woodland Park, Passaic and Clifton. No surcharges, no minimum.
- Cases and jugs on one delivery. Alkaline, Poland Spring, Saratoga, coconut water, jugs and a cooler, all on one route.
Bringing your own cooler or jugs
- Have a cooler already? Keep it. Order jugs only; any standard 5-gallon jug fits.
- Have empty jugs from another company? We swap our own. On your first jug order choose "No, send jugs too" and the new jugs are $8.00 each, yours to keep; from then on they are swapped free with each delivery.
- Have a rented cooler from another company? Return it to them, then rent ours from $7.99 a month or buy the Avalon A4 Bottom-Loading Water Cooler Dispenser (Black) for $199.00.
Switching in three steps

- Place your first order. Once, or as a subscription on the schedule you pick. On a one-time order, buy 6 cases of Alkaid and a seventh Alkaid case is added free; no code to enter.
- Cancel the old service once your first Alkaid delivery lands, so you are never without water.

Questions before you switch
Can I use my existing water cooler with Alkaid jugs?
Yes. Our 5-gallon jugs fit any standard top- or bottom-loading cooler.
Do you take other companies' empty jugs?
No. We swap Alkaid jugs. If you have no jugs of your own, the bottle is bought once at $8.00 and is yours to keep; if you already have jugs, choose "swap mine" and pay the refill price. Every delivery after that swaps them free.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
Water subscriptions can be paused, skipped or cancelled from your account at any time. A rented cooler is a 12-month rental: the first and last month's rent ($7.99 each) are paid with your first delivery, repair or swap is free throughout, and we pick the cooler up when the subscription ends.
How fast can the first delivery come?
We confirm your delivery day by email right after you order, and text you when the driver is on the way if you opt in to texts. Deliveries run 8 AM to 8 PM.
