We are the bottled water line of Blue Star Pure Water, a family company that has run routes across northern New Jersey and New York since 2010.
What you get with Alkaid
- A phone a person answers. (973) 742-0216, and we usually reply to messages within one business day.
- No contract. Subscriptions can be paused, skipped or cancelled from your account at any time.
- Cooler rental you can walk away from. The Avalon A4 Bottom-Loading Water Cooler Dispenser (Black) from $7.99 a month with a 2-jug subscription, billed with each delivery as its own line. We maintain it, swap it free if it fails, and pick it up if you cancel.
- Jugs swapped, not exchanged at a store. We deliver full 5-gallon jugs and take your empties, 2 at a time. $8.99 alkaline or spring, $7.25 purified.
- A text when the driver is on the way, and a photograph of every drop.
- The Doorstep Promise. Damaged on arrival: keep it, we replace it. Taken after drop-off: refunded.
- Flat delivery. Free on 2+ Alkaid cases or any order over $60.00; otherwise $5.99 subscribed or $9.99 one-time. New York City adds $4.99 for tolls and parking.
- Cases and jugs on one delivery. Alkaline, Poland Spring, Saratoga, coconut water, jugs and a cooler, all on one route.
Bringing your own cooler or jugs
- Have a cooler already? Keep it. Order jugs only; any standard 5-gallon jug fits.
- Have empty jugs from another company? We swap our own. On your first jug order choose "No, send jugs too" and the new jugs are $8.00 each, yours to keep; from then on they are swapped free with each delivery.
- Have a rented cooler from another company? Return it to them, then rent ours from $7.99 a month or buy the Avalon A4 Bottom-Loading Water Cooler Dispenser (Black) for $199.99.

Questions before you switch
Can I use my existing water cooler with Alkaid jugs?
Yes. Our 5-gallon jugs fit any standard top- or bottom-loading cooler.
Do you take other companies' empty jugs?
No. We swap Alkaid jugs. Your first jug order includes new jugs at $8.00 each, which you keep; every delivery after that swaps them free.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
No contract. Pause, skip or cancel from your account at any time. A rented cooler comes home when the subscription ends; returning it inside the first 12 months costs a $50.00 return fee, which is what stands in for a deposit.
How fast can the first delivery come?
We confirm your delivery day by email right after you order and text you when the driver is on the way. Deliveries run 8 AM to 8 PM.
